There are only about 44,000 miles on the odometer, too, and the seller says that in addition to the blower system, the car has shifter, driveshaft, cooling system, exhaust, and suspension, brake, and wheel upgrades. It’s also said to be “rust-free,” with no mechanical or electrical issues. “It’s never been in an accident and never raced,” says the seller. 

POWERTRAIN 

In the pre-LS1 days, the fourth-generation Z28 was powered by the LT1 5.7-liter OHV V8 and, according to the seller, this example’s output has been increased with an intercooled Powerdyne supercharger system. It’s also said to be the original engine, with no rebuild. The engine reportedly starts, idles, and runs well, with no smoke or leaks, says the seller, and it exhales through an aftermarket performance exhaust system. The engine is mated with a Tremec six-speed manual gearbox that’s shifted via a short-throw shifter, sending torque to the rear axle through a Dynotech driveshaft. The transmission reportedly shifts smoothly and has no issues.The Bright Red paintwork on this Camaro is said by the seller to be original and in “excellent” condition, with no reported dents, dings, or other significant blemishes in the finish. There’s “no rust” on the body asserts the seller. Additionally, the glass and seals are reported to be “excellent” condition, too, with no scratches or cracks in the glass and no leaks from the seals. The convertible top is said to operate very well, with no issues and no reported leaks. Exterior upgrades include a reportedly OEM SS hood and rear spoiler.
